What we teach

Amazing Training is an American Heart Association training site offering BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) and PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support), as single courses or in combination. Every class is taught in person, hands-on, to current AHA guidelines.

What sets our team apart is the ability to take those guidelines and break them down into their simplest, most understandable form — so you leave knowing the why behind each skill, not just the steps. Seats are limited by design; small classes are the whole point.

Real EKG interpretation

Recognizing a rhythm and truly reading one are two different skills. Every Amazing Training course teaches the second: reading real strips, taking real measurements, and understanding exactly what they mean at the bedside.

• Full rhythm recognition — from normal sinus rhythm through first-, second- and third-degree heart block.
• Intervals and measurements — PR intervals and QRS durations, calculated with confidence.
• Irregularity, classified — occasional, regularly irregular, and irregularly irregular, and what each one tells you.
• Rate calculation — the 1500 method, straight from the strip.

Measured by the AHA

The American Heart Association surveys students after class and scores each training site by discipline. Amazing Training scores 94 in ACLS and 96 in both BLS and PALS, well above the national benchmark of 85 in every discipline it teaches. Because these scores come directly from students, they measure how people actually experience the class.
